STATUE OF UNITY:- SARDAR VALLABH BHAI PATEL.
The world’s tallest statue was inaugurated by the Indian prime minister on 31 OCT2018 in an extravagant ceremony that marked the unofficial launch of an election campaign and provoked a row over the £330 million(3000 CRORE) cost.
It is because of the efforts of Sardar Vallabai Patel that 760 princely states were united into one nation. He deserves a place in the hearts and minds of every Indian. By this statue this government has been reminding the people of his contribution to this nation.
BUT THE BIG QUESTION IS THAT
IS IT NECESSARY TO MAKE THIS HUGE & COSTLY STATUE??
In the country like India,who is dealing with poverty,corruption,crime,illiteracy, suciding of poor farmers & homeless peoples.
Is it necessary to make this coslty & huge statue just for SHOW OFF, instead of helping the NATION with those 3000 crore ruppees.
This is totaly useless & not understandable , that what is the need of this statue NOW?
According to some experts and most of Indian Citizens,that this statue is just a waste of money & taxes of country people.
According to survey there are approx 130crore people in india,and approx 3000crore ruppees utilitsed to make this statue,which is totaly waste of ruppees. By simple calculations it is clear that every citizen of country deserves to get INR24 Crore ruppees in his/her account instead of this statue. Which is way to much to reduce the illitracy , poverty and unemployment of the country.
Our Indian government could help poor famers and helpless peoples by giving this amount of money , to recover their health & poverty.
But they think "STATUE OF UNITY" can give big impressions to other countries,that we have the biggest & costliest statue all over the WORLD.
